As of this week Fabrique Invent is our first official customer! It marks an important milestone for Share Square. Amongst other things it shows Share Square is ready to be actually used. We are gearing up to enable actual professional use for more participants and are giving a number of private demonstrations to companies.

A real pinboard for the office!

Yesterday we demonstrated Share Square on the YES!Delft network event. showing people collaborating on three computers simultaniously.

Considering the large amount of positive feedback, a stack of new business cards and a number of people seriously interested to participate in a pilot I think we can call this a succes.Up to the next milestone!

Sorry to keep you from updates so long! This post marks some significant happenings for Share Square.

• For those of you watching the main site, maybe not new but Rowan has joined the team for one day a week. She will be doing user interaction design and graphics. It is now her third week and picking up the work well.

• Seed money. Share Square completed a first (though modest) round of investment. We are now very seriously looking to hire a full-time programmer. In fact, I had the first interview this afternoon.

• Share Square B.V. Share Square is becoming incorporated. This wednesday I was at the notary to setup all the details for becoming a B.V. It signifies that we are serious in bringing Share Square to market.

• Yesterday we moved office to YES!Delft. It’s the TU Delft incubator. We now have a bigger office, and lots of cool people around. What is cool about it is that it is full of entrepreneurs with good ideas.

Wowsers. This makes such a difference!

In the past months there was no real logo, and thus the site looked crappy. I couldn’t take the effort to do anything about it because it needed a real logo.

Now, Bas Janson of Stylish Media made this new pinboard logo. What do you think about it? ( I love it ). Thank you Bas!

Ok. So the person I rent my office from told someone else he could possibley share my office with me. I’m not sure what I think about it.

Today this website for “project i/o” is launched. The site is currently intended to be a contact portal. Over time it can grow to be a more informational website. If you are interested in getting updates about the project i/o project, please subscribe to the newsletter.

Monday the 16th of May there will be a network event at YES!Delft, the TUDelft High-tech incubator, and you are invited!

We at Share Square have been working really hard the past few weeks to be able to show you one of the very first real product demo’s. We are very proud to have come so far in the past few months and are curious to hear what you think of it.
